The global HVAC-R sector has reached 570 billion dollars in the last four years
Increasing its exports every year, the HVAC-R sector is getting ready for the ISK-SODEX!
The global HVAC-R sector, which has achieved a value of 570 billion dollars in the last four years, comes together at the ISK-SODEX, the first and largest meeting point in the Eurasia Region. Now in its twenty-fifth year, the Fair will be held at the Istanbul Expo Center from 25 to 28 October 2023 with the motto “Healthy Indoor Climate Solutions.” Exhibitors will showcase HVAC&R, insulation, pump, valve, fitting, water treatment, fire prevention, pool and solar energy systems products..
In the last four years, the global HVAC-R sector has grown 13.23 percent, reaching a value of 570 billion. The industry aims to increase production and exports by 43 percent in Türkiye. As the global climatization market prepares for billions of dollars of trade in the coming years due to consumer demand for environmentally friendly and economical products, ISK-SODEX ISTANBUL, the first and largest meeting point of the sector in the Eurasian Region, continues to make significant contributions to the global trade of the sector. Taking place at the Istanbul Expo Center with the motto “Healthy Indoor Climate Solutions”, the 2023 event is expected to draw 90,000 visitors from around the world, including Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, along with representatives from the climatization sector, particularly with regard to heating, cooling, air conditioning, ventilation and insulation systems, as well as pumps, valves, fitting, water treatment, fire, pool and solar energy systems. Hannover Messe Sodeks Fuarcılık A.Ş. General Manager Annika Klar said that the exhibition aims to generate a foreign trade surplus by taking a share of 1.5 percent from the world market. She also noted that ISK-SODEX Istanbul has contributed approximately 500 million dollars to the trade volume of the Turkish HVAC-R sector with every edition over the last five years.
The biggest meeting point of the HVAC-R sector in Eurasia
Since the first ISK-SODEX ISTANBUL in 1997, the fair has hosted approximately 13,000 domestic and foreign exhibitors and 1,3 million visitors, including manufacturers and sector professionals who follow the latest trends and developments in the climatization sector. ISK-SODEX ISTANBUL, which increased its number of visitors by 27 percent in 2021, enabled the Turkish HVAC-R sector to realize new export collaborations through B2B Bilateral Business Meetings attended by 300 professional buyers from 53 countries. Companies from Uzbekistan, Italy, India, France and Germany participated intensively, while visitors from Iran, Iraq, Ukraine, Kosovo, Uzbekistan, Belgium, Morocco, Ghana, the Netherlands and UK showed great interest in the products and latest technologies exhibited in the last edition.

The economy of the region will be revived with ISK-SODEX
The exhibition will be held across 11 halls on 50,000 square meters from 25 to 28 October 2023. More than a thousand manufacturers from all over the world are expected to exhibit along with a record number of visitors.
